AUGUST 2023 REPORT - THE PROMISE
May God's Grace be with you today and always! I am happy with Jesus for his Greatness and that we can be a part of it. These days we are on a forty day prayer campaign for the purpose of pentecost, revival is needed for our hearts and churches these days. During a visit to one of our communities, we prayed asking God for an awakening for that community and for the Brazilian church. At that moment, God reminded my heart of the words of Joel 2:28 when He said that “It will happen that in these last days I will pour out my Spirit”... this brought joy and comfort to my heart because, besides being more than a human desire, revival is a promise from God, this promise transfers us the idea of guarantee, He said that “it will happen”, He will do it. That sounded very comforting to my heart, knowing that He is the main stakeholder in a spiritual awakening. I pray that you and your home and your church will be targets of this outpouring from God. Ahh yes, let's talk about the mission field...!!
We had a beautiful field trip and were able to visit all of our churches in the Amazon River region. We received a team of work and testimony from the California district that helped us a lot throughout this journey. A team with deep ardor and evangelistic yearning, who have been deeply impacted by everything they've seen and the challenges we have here.
Reception and crossing
We received the work and witness group in Manaus with a reception service and dedication of the trip. Beautiful moment between the Amazonian and American churches. Then we leave for a long boat trip from Manaus to Parintins, on the speedboat "Jesus the Hope". Very long trip, but everything was blessed and safe.
Parintins first stop
We arrived in Parintins and had a day's work in this city. We took advantage of one day to renovate a small shed that exists outside the church. Day of testimonies and communion with the people of Parintins.

Birthday in missions
After this impactful community, we traveled another seven hours to pass through the municipality of Parintins and reach Barreirinha. During that very special day, I celebrated my birthday doing what I love most... advancing on the wings of the Kingdom of God. Gratitude for all the care and dedication received that day.

Return to Manaus and farewell
After many things we saw and experienced, it was time to return to Manaus, so we crossed a 25-hour journey to reach the capital. All properly rested and back on solid ground, we said goodbye to the team that returned very impacted and with fervor in their hearts.
We are grateful to everyone who is praying and investing in Nazarene missions in the Amazon. Don't forget... the revival before being human intention is God's promise!
In Christ,always in Him
