Tutoring Center Experience - November 2023
This month, several topics were held with the children of the tutoring center project. On that occasion, it was possible to observe the teaching of classes, thus evaluating that the teacher uses different pedagogical techniques to provide learning to students. It is worth noting that in the month in question emphasis was placed on two very significant dates, Children's Day and Teachers' Day. It was possible to work with children on the importance of being children and living a happy childhood because one day they will be adults. It was also possible to teach the importance of a teacher, as here in Brazil, Teacher's Day was celebrated.
Therefore, we ended the month in a conversation circle, dealing with the theme of Pink October, in this conversation the children discovered that breast cancer is not restricted exclusively to women, that is, men can also develop this type of cancer, despite it being very common. rare.
It is also worth highlighting that children always have the opportunity to speak, in this sense one of the students reported that her mother had already had breast cancer, and in this way she shared some of the symptoms experienced by her mother. We also talked about forms of prevention and necessary care in addition to self-examination.
